Our classes are designed to help teach you to teach your dog Obedience Skills. This is taught by using Positive Reinforcement for motivation, which will also include hand and voice signals. We have a variety of classes and programs to choose from, such as:
In-Home Training-These are classes that are conducted at your home where many problems and issues happen. We have our professional trainer who has been training for over 9 years that will come out once a week for six weeks to work with you and your dog. Sessions usually take an hour and the schedule can be worked out between you and the trainer.
One-on-One Classes-These classes are once a week for six weeks, they take about 45 minutes and are private lessons. These are held with a professional trainer, you may bring a guest or significant other and/or the family. They are available days, evenings and weekends depending on your schedule.
Group Classes-Group classes are held in our large training rooms and may vary in class sizes. They are great for socializing your dog during training. They are held once a week for six weeks, they take about an hour and you are welcome to bring a guest. Classes are usually held in the evening, either 5:30 or 7:00 PM. It will be the same day and time every week once you start.
Boot camp-We have a 2 and 4 week course for basic obedience training where your dog stays at our facility and is trained intensively by one or more of our professional trainers. All our training techniques are positive reinforcement. Our Boot Camp program is one of the best around, service and prices are unbeatable also. If you are going on vacation, a trip or just do not have the extra time for our 6 week obedience course, then this program is for you. Depending on the length of the program you choose from, it comes with 1or 2 classes, one when you first pick up your dog to show you all it has learned and to turn the training, hand and voice commands over to you. The dog is pre-trained when you pick it up, we just turn all that over to you. The second class is to be held within one week of pick up if you are in the 2 to 4 week Boot Camp program, this is to go over any issues or concerns you may have, and to make sure that you are comfortable with the commands.
We have many types of classes available and have flexible hours for Days, Evenings & Weekends. Below is a short list of just a few commands that we will learn in class:
